Dinosaur Dreaming

In fact, the current record rate of discovery of new fossils and dinosaurs has the country in a “dinosaur boom.” Dinosaur Dreaming is a documentation of four digs spanning from 2019-2023 and is dedicated to the hard working individuals working to discover unknown histories of our past.

Nothing Without You is a photographic exploration detailing the bonds and relationships between life and death. In 2017, Wilhelm lost his grandfather, a death that impacted him deeply. Feeling lost he looked to his work to try and find answers or at least a sense of direction in life. Nothing Without You was that answer.
From 2017-2019 Wilhelm sought out subjects that shared bonds with both life and death. From priests and their dedication to God, a deceased entity that gives their life meaning and purpose to those they preach to. To a funeral celebrant, who celebrates the life of those no longer with us with their loved ones. To an artist using the bones of a deceased animal to create a work of art and of course my family. The journey of speaking with and photographing these subjects brought new meaning and joy to my own life. A body of work born from the passing of his grandfather, breathed life into his photography.
'Nothing Without You' was self-published in 2019 and exhibited at Brick + Mortar Supply.
